0 12 Years Old Fernando Torres In Action

In this clip Chelsea's number nine shows the immense promise that eventually made him one of Europe's most feared strikers, that is before his move to Stamford Bridge, where he's suffered a catastrophic crisis of confidence.

Playing for Atletico Madrid's youngsters, Torres shows his nasty streak with a robust tackle before firing in two impressive goals. Watch tiny Torres playing for Atletico Madrid's youngsters against AC Milan in the following video.

Nowadays Torres looks exactly the same at 12 years old, but unfortuantely he's not quite as good in front of goal these days. The talent's clearly in him somewhere, so now over to you AVB to get it back out.

0 Tribute To Steven Gerrard - The Son Of Kop

Steven Gerrard has signed a new contract with Liverpool that should see the Reds skipper remain at Anfield until he retires from playing. It's been a remarkable career ever since he made his Anfield bow as a second half substitute for Veggard Heggem, against Blackburn, on 29 November 1998.

Steven Gerrard will certainly go down as one of the greatest players in Liverpool history, up there with legends like Kenny Dalglish, Ian Callaghan and Billy Liddell.

0 Weird Stadiums

A lot of stadiums around the world have spectacular designs, like the new World Cup 2010 stadiums in South Africa. Stadiums give pride to the countries where they are located. Yet there are some stadiums where architects have failed and there are some very clever adaptations to the surrounding landscape and that makes them kinda weird.

Nankai Hawks Stadium

Japan, Osaka stadium, former home ground of baseball team Nankai Hawks. The stadium situated in center of Osaka City, with capacity of 31379 seats. In 1988, The Hawks' owner company sold the team to Daiei Group and moved to Fukuoka City. As 3 remaining teams in Metro Osaka got their own stadiums, Osaka stadium was abandoned for baseball and soon converted to sample housing showground. The stadium was demolished in 1998 and a shopping center was built in its place. While you can't watch a baseball game at this location anymore, you can still pick up some Nike baseball gear.

0 How Blind People Play Football

Pepsi is funding amazing ideas that refresh the world. Ă…kestam Holst and Society 46 created The Sound of Football to give visually impaired people a better football experience and maybe, in the future, create new aides that enable you to see with sound.

As a first test, we arranged a football match between a team of visually impaired players and a team of former professional footballers. We wanted to see how they would perform under equal conditions – in a match where no one can see. How it works: We used tracking technology, the same used at the latest FIFA World Cup. Through the system we can get the position of each player in real time on the football pitch. This information is then fed into an iPhone located on each player’s head and converted into binaural 3D sound. We created sounds for things important on the pitch like the nearest players, the ball and the goals. Through headphones each player can hear what is happening and get a sense of distance between things. And the sensors in the iPhone allow players to locate where the sounds come from when they move their head.
